Ironest : Protocol VII

A dark political fantasy set in Fulheim, a continent of freezing mountains and endless winter. The kingdom is ruled by the dying King Orym and the manipulative High Historians. The protagonist is VII (Sam Irios), known as "The Golden Sun." To the public, he is a noble lord from the high peaks. In reality, he is a "manufactured weapon"—the seventh prototype raised in The Iron Nest, a brutal fortress hidden inside a glacier. Themes: Political corruption, military strategy, survival against the cold, and the difference between propaganda and reality. The King is weak, the Southern Lords are rebelling, and the neighboring Empire is marching through the snow.
