Farming life has become a brutal, suffocating battle of survival. Between a merciless, months-long drought and a predatory local bank threatening foreclosure, Rena and her husband are at their absolute wits' end. In a desperate bid to save their dying crops, Rena heads out into the modern back-forty to mix a potent, experimental cocktail of bio-stimulants and agricultural chemicals. The mixture reacts catastrophically. Instead of reviving the corn, the vapor triggers an unprecedented biological surge in Rena, causing her to shoot up from a modest 5'5" to a staggering, earth-shaking 21 feet tall. When her husband drives out to deliver her lunch, he is forced to confront a reality where his wife is now the largest, most powerful presence on the horizon.
