Boxing RPG with RPG elements (updated with a real script)

What happens while you play 1. Starting out Your 3 chosen talents start at 16 and everything else starts at 10. The script reads them from your Plot Essentials, or from your first action, like “I tell him jab, heart and footwork.” 2. Training When you type things like “I hit the heavy bag” or “I go for a morning run,” your stats slowly improve: Heavy bag → Hook, Cross, Overhand Speed bag → Jab, Footwork Mitts → Cross, Hook, Uppercut Shadowboxing → Footwork, Jab Roadwork → Recovery, Heart Jump rope → Footwork, Recovery Sit-ups or neck work → Toughness, Chin Weights → Toughness, Overhand Watching fight tape → Learning Speed Training uses stamina, and when you’re worn out your gains are halved. Type /rest to recover and start the next day. 3. Fighting Type /fight for a real bout or /spar for practice. The script creates an opponent with a name, nickname, style and win-loss record. Then you just describe what you do: “I throw a 1-2-3” → you get a rating card for each punch, from MISS up to LEGENDARY. A better stat, more stamina and more focus give better ratings, and better ratings do more damage. “I slip and counter with an uppercut” → you defend, and your counter punch gets a bonus. “I cover up and circle away” → you’re harder to hit and you get some stamina back. The opponent punches back each turn. Three of your actions make one round, and each round is scored 10-9. If someone’s health hits 0 it’s a knockdown, and Heart and Chin decide whether they get up. Three knockdowns ends the fight. If nobody gets knocked out, the scorecards decide it. 4. After a fight Wins earn money, reputation and XP. Losses still pay a little and give some XP, but cost reputation. Getting knocked out leaves you hurt for your next fight. The story never ends because of a loss. 5. Growing over time Levels: Amateur (1–5), Prospect (6–15), Contender (16–30), Champion (31–50). Higher ranks mean longer fights, tougher opponents and bigger purses. Each level gives skill points to spend with /upgrade hook. Perks: 9 perks unlock from how you fight. For example, Iron Chin comes from taking lots of punches and Ring General from defending a lot. /perks shows your progress. Signature punches: land 25 PERFECT-or-better shots with one punch to unlock its special version, like the Thunder Hook or Rising Dragon uppercut. Fighting style: the script watches how you fight and labels you a Knockout Artist, Defensive Mastermind, Pressure Fighter, Out-Boxer, Slugger or Boxer-Puncher. 6. Fair fights Opponents get stronger as you do, so fights stay challenging all the way up.
