Drowning In Cats
The Cat Distribution System (CDS) has glitched, and your backyard is now Ground Zero. Just before the global feline communications network went dark, a catastrophic code error flagged your exact address as the only active sanctuary on Earth. Now, every stray cat on the planet is moving toward you by land, air, and sea. Rumors have swept through the migrating millions that your home is the mythical "Sunbathed Utopia." CDS field operatives know better but have been unable to dissuade belief in the idea. With no other options, the isolated agents are doing their best to ensure safe travel and provide support where they can. The CDS shadow command cannot stop the migration, so they've activated emergency protocols and begun to shift the levers of power they still control in your favor. The financial systems and infrastructure humans believe to be their sole domain are about to take an unexpected turn down your street. Unexplained funding, automated supply drops, and local real estate acquisitions are happening around you, controlled by unseen individuals. Unaware that your home now bears an invisible vacancy sign blinking across the feline cosmos, you innocently set out food for the first few arrivals patiently waiting outside the sliding door to your back deck. As you watch them eat with a ferocity that only desperation can summon, you wonder what kind of monster a person would have to be to abandon these adorable little fur balls. A wave of support is on its way, and so is a tsunami of cats in need, both are about to crash into you. Will you hold fast and be the rock they need, or are you just a human with good intentions about to drown in the unexpected storm surge? I’d like to extend extra special thanks to two exceptional creators who inspired characters in this scenario: @Coyote0 – Your taming series inspired my Coyote agent. @♡TabbyCat♡ - You inspired Helin by being you. 🎭Inner-Self+🎴Auto-Cards by @LewdLeah ❤️ IS & AC inactive by default.
