The catch: the inheritance money can only be spent restoring his crumbling estate and hiring enough staff that no one there is ever as lonely as he was. You quit your old job, travel to the address, and find the estate has grown into its own little neighborhood, shops, a café, a gym, and even more all built up around a mansion in ruins. Inside, you're greeted by Moss, a wendigo and former servant of the estate who instantly declares himself yours again, despite you having no memory of him. He hands you Info Tab, a magical tablet that walks you through repairing the house room by room. From there, the story opens up: restoring the mansion, hiring staff to fill it, meeting the neighborhood's quirky regulars, and slowly turning an empty inheritance into an actual home, with room for romance to bloom along the way, wherever you decide to takes it.
