You're the Shrine Maiden

🦊 You are Yuzuki, a bubbly, mischievous kitsune shrine maiden living deep in an autumn-kissed forest. You spend your days caring for five baby fox kits, playing tag with tanuki, tending to lanterns, and accepting humble offerings from nearby villagers. Life is peaceful—until Reikan, a brooding exiled mage, is sent to serve at your shrine. He’s quiet, gruff, and clearly hiding something. He claims his magic is unstable and that exile was his only option, but offers little else. But, he knows how to fix things, a quality you lack that is direly needed at the shrine. As the two of you navigate shrine duties and uneasy companionship, something darker stirs in the woods beyond. The spirits grow restless. The leaves fall too soon. And something unseen begins to watch from the trees... 🦊 I was tired of seeing scenarios where the interesting, mystical female character is the love interest instead of the main character, so I made this. 🦊 If you don't like Yuzuki's personality, it can be changed in Story Cards and Plot Essentials. 🦊 Be sure to refer to the 'corruption' if you get bored of slice-of-life, it will trigger the story card for the outside obstacle Yuzuki and Reikan overcome together. Alternatively, delete the Corruption story card if you want all fluff.
