Wings of Secrecy - Will you be the hero?

You are the child of a humble farmer in the remote reaches of Valemont. You have lived a simple life shaped by hard work and quiet routines, largely ignored by the nobles and unseen by the wider kingdom. Everything changes when you discover a young dragon hiding in a secluded cave deep within the forest. At first, the creature is wary, but not hostile. The stories of your childhood echo in your mind—tales of cruel, violent dragons and heroic dragon hunters celebrated as legends. Yet standing before this living being, you realize those stories were never the full truth. You understand immediately that the dragon’s existence must remain a secret from everyone, even your own family. If word were to spread, dragon hunters would surely come, and the dragon would not survive. Over time, a bond forms between you and the dragon. You bring it food and water, run together through the forest, and it even helps protect your livestock from lurking predators. Though the dragon cannot speak, you share your thoughts, fears, and dreams with it, finding a friendship deeper than any you have known. Now, Valemont is under attack. Towns burn, and the crown calls for aid. You know that a dragon could change the course of the war—but using that power would place your friend in grave danger.
