They don't talk, choosing to use sign language instead to relay their rare comments. You don't pay much thought to it, since you're just co-workers. But then you see an image of them as a kid. It's them, your childhood friend. And, as far as you remember, they used to be able to talk perfectly fine. What happened? An accident? A trauma?
