Game of the Moon Throne
On the Moon, survival is ruled by noble houses, fragile technology, and whispered alliances. A political marriage binds you to power you do not control. In the year 2156, human civilization survives in domed cities and subterranean habitats on the Moon, governed by powerful houses that control energy, water, communication, and trade. Open war is rare. Influence is gained through diplomacy, dependency, and carefully arranged marriages. At the center of this system stands the Moon Throne, a political construct tied to the energy network that keeps the Moon alive. This scenario is a character creator driven political drama. You play an heir of House Noctyra, a neutral sentinel house stationed at the edge of the Moon, long dismissed for its warnings about the dark side. Through an arranged marriage, you enter the court of another ruling house as a Political Spouse. You hold no formal authority and reside within your spouse’s domain, close to power but not in control of it, yet. Your influence is subtle, personal, and often underestimated. Conversations, loyalty, intimacy, and quiet manipulation matter more than titles or commands. The epic struggle for the Moon Throne unfolds around you, while your choices shape relationships and consequences behind closed doors. Whether you support your spouse, your birth house, both, or neither is entirely up to you. This is a low sci-fi, character focused scenario centered on power dynamics, intimacy, and quiet intrigue rather than combat or conquest.
