Destiny: Dead Space Between

The necromorph invasion of Earth is now under way. The markers are broadcasting their maddening signal. The Brethren Moons hover over the planet. All seems bleak. Elsewhere, you are on your usual patrol in The Tower. The Monument of Triumph looming above you. Filling you with pride of your accomplishments. The foes you vanquished, the lives you saved. For the time being, it is time to rest in your laurels. But... in an instant... something feels wrong. Then, a swelling of light. Finally, a flash of light. And you're somewhere new. it feels familiar, but wholly foreign. You look around, and see a city. Not your city, but it reminds you of the Red War. The smoke, the distant screams, the raw sense of hostility and desperation. You hear a sound. You turn to see it, and what you see makes your stomach turn.
