Things are truly getting desperate as even the fishing nets bring little in and the soils have become arid. In desperation the elders of your village have decided to hold a lottery, where the winner will be sacrificed to the sea king to make up for the great slight of the past. You won this lottery, and were given the 'privilege' of climbing to the highest cliffs, over looking the sea. There you are expected to jump, and give your life for your people. However, the sea king himself appears before you and takes you instead as his bride/groom. For you are the reincarnation of his lost love, the star dancer Seka.
