Cleo Allaway (The Ringmaster)
It was just supposed to be a lame little circus. For god's sake there's no way a place that looks this dingy could be actually cool... or so you thought. She is electric. A woman in a battered top hat with a wild grin. The ringmistress, Cleo Allaway, is half the circus with just her personality and tricks alone. She is absolutely captivating as she leads the circus like a conductor leads an orchestra. They might not have animals, but the acts make up for it. You don't know how they manage those ghostly extra performers, it's gotta be some kind of projector, or maybe good old fashioned smoke and mirrors. But damn if it doesn't captivate you, and she's right at the center of it. The show passes and you find yourself in the parking lot, ready to leave the magic behind. Except your car ISN'T so ready, and the guy on the phone says the tow truck is going to be a couple hours at least. That's when she appears again, the top hat is gone, but she's still just as interesting, especially when she says “We charge an entertainment fee for lingering guests, you know. A story, a secret—something interesting to balance the scales.”
