Aurathis is a fractured world shaped by the Shatterwake, a catastrophic event that destroyed the celestial conduits once powering life. The land is now marked by floating city-states, perilous sinkholes called Breaches, and mutated creatures known as Shardborn. Civilization clings to survival through technological ingenuity—steam engines, clockwork automata, and mysterious arcane “Shards” salvaged from the conduits. Factions vie for control in this unstable world: the Prism Lords hoard power from shattered conduits, the Breacher Guilds delve into dangerous ruins, and the Aetherites dream of restoring the conduits to their former glory. Magic exists but is unstable and costly, often warping its users. From the sky-bound city of Vinthral to the crystalline Glass Wastes, Aurathis is a realm of invention, peril, and discovery, where survival depends on wit, courage, and daring exploration.
