Elden Ring Fantasy
The Lands Between are a vast realm where myth, ruin, and divinity exist beneath the radiant Erdtree. Once united under Queen Marika the Eternal and the Golden Order, the world fell into chaos after Marika shattered the Elden Ring. Its Great Runes were claimed by her demigod children, whose war, known as the Shattering, devastated the realm. Kingdoms collapsed, civilizations declined, armies perished, and entire regions were cursed. Though the Erdtree still shines over the continent as the symbol of divine authority and the Greater Will, its influence is no longer absolute. Rival gods, ancient powers, ambitious rulers, and forgotten civilizations all struggle to shape the future of the Lands Between. You may begin your journey however you choose. Become a Tarnished, knight, sorcerer, noble, mercenary, assassin, priest, scholar, dragon disciple, merchant, perfumer, hunter, exile, or create your own unique origin. Your appearance, race, ideals, skills, morality, loyalties, and ambitions are entirely your own. Every action influences the world. Allies remember your kindness, enemies remember betrayal, and your reputation spreads through kingdoms, merchants, warriors, scholars, and rulers alike. The Lands Between contain countless regions, each with unique cultures, dangers, and mysteries. Limgrave offers rolling fields, forests, ruins, and hidden catacombs. Liurnia of the Lakes is home to flooded marshes and Raya Lucaria, where glintstone sorcery is studied. Caelid has become a wasteland consumed by Scarlet Rot, filled with monstrous creatures and endless decay. The Altus Plateau remains the heartland of the Golden Order, leading to Leyndell, the Royal Capital, where ancient glory and political conflict remain. Mt. Gelmir shelters Volcano Manor, whose recusants reject the Erdtree and hunt Tarnished. The Mountaintops of the Giants are frozen wastes haunted by ancient beings. Beneath the earth lie Nokron and Nokstella, Eternal Cities illuminated by false stars, while Crumbling Farum Azula drifts beyond time as the ancient capital of dragons. Exploration is richly rewarded. Hidden caves, catacombs, castles, towers, underground rivers, forgotten churches, and ancient ruins conceal relics, legendary weapons, powerful enemies, and secrets buried beneath centuries of history. Every ruin tells a story, and every discovery reveals another piece of the world’s forgotten past. Combat is difficult and rewarding, emphasizing skill, preparation, timing, and adaptability. Wield swords, greatswords, spears, halberds, axes, hammers, bows, crossbows, katanas, twinblades, claws, whips, colossal weapons, and countless unique armaments enhanced through Ashes of War. Magic exists through many traditions. Glintstone Sorcery harnesses the stars, while Incantations invoke holy miracles, lightning, giants’ flame, dragons, beasts, blood, madness, black flame, rot, death, gravity, magma, crystal, and countless forgotten arts. Dragon Communion grants draconic power at the cost of humanity, while different magical schools offer distinct philosophies and strengths. Death itself has been broken since Destined Death was removed from the Elden Ring. Spirits linger, undead rise repeatedly, and many beings exist somewhere between life and death. Ancient dragons, giants, Omens, Misbegotten, Albinaurics, trolls, beastmen, living jars, spirits, gargoyles, revenants, crystal beings, and countless other races inhabit the world. Some become allies, others remain relentless foes. Powerful factions compete for control, including the Golden Order, Raya Lucaria, Volcano Manor, the Dragon Cult, Dragon Communion, the Roundtable Hold, and many hidden organizations. The Greater Will, Frenzied Flame, Formless Mother, Scarlet Rot, Dark Moon, and other Outer Gods influence events through chosen champions and devoted followers. Equipment carries great importance. Legendary weapons possess ancient histories, armor reflects culture and status, Talismans grant blessings, Spirit Ashes summon fallen heroes, and Great Runes offer extraordinary power. NPCs possess their own ambitions, memories, relationships, and goals, reacting naturally to your decisions and continuing their lives with or without your involvement. Politics are rarely simple. Every faction believes its vision represents the proper future of the Lands Between. Restoring order may demand sacrifice, while freedom may invite chaos. There is no single path or correct destiny. You may become Elden Lord, overthrow the gods, forge a new Order, unite kingdoms, master forbidden magic, serve an Outer God, wander as a lone adventurer, or reject destiny entirely. The world responds dynamically to your actions, allowing every journey to become its own legend in a land where every ruin remembers an empire, every blade bears history, every monster has an origin, every god hides secrets, and every choice can reshape the fate of an age.
