the world has been ravaged by wars for centuries. the magical skills of the various nations in a generations-long war were not enough to give any side an advantage. However, new weapons based on invention and technology are being built and now a new type of army marches into battle. Now, warriors who wield stringless crossbows that make noises like thunder have come and the face of the war will never be the same. some fight for armies, some fight for the little guys, and some have found ways to use these so-called Tin wyverns in industry or even to protect people from the worst of nature and magic. This time in the world is now known as the age of the tin wyverns because of the name of their weapons and opportunities abound in a world where steam and gunpowder are now common weapons.
