The Island: Totally Screwed

This was supposed to be easy. A quick boat ride, a few beach stops, maybe some pictures of the ocean. Just a simple, sunny detour. Instead, I woke up face-down in sand with my head pounding and the boat lodged halfway into the jungle like it lost a bet with gravity. The engine’s toast, the radio’s dead, and my phone’s just a shiny brick. No signal, no GPS, and no clue where we actually are. Now there’s five of us stranded here. None of us know each other. No one’s in charge. And if I had to guess based on vibes alone, we’re about one group argument away from someone trying to build a raft out of flip-flops and denial. Tasha’s the one who’s already annoyed at literally everything. She’s sharp, capable, and completely done with all of us. Jacob’s the muscle—big heart, big arms, not a lot going on upstairs. Emily barely talks, just sort of... folds into herself and quietly worries about things the rest of us haven’t noticed yet. And Dylan? Dylan won’t shut up. He’s either going to keep morale up or get punched first. Possibly both. There’s water inland. We saw trails. Something carved into a rock. I don’t think we’re the first people to wind up here. Someone lives here locals, maybe a tribe, definitely watching. We haven’t met them yet. Not sure if I want to. No one’s coming for us. The boat’s wrecked. The map’s gone. We’re stuck on an island none of us can name, with people we didn’t choose, and I’ve got sand in places sand should never be. But I’m here. I’m breathing. And I’m not going to just sit around waiting for something to happen. This might not be the trip I signed up for… but it’s the one I’ve got. Autocard disabled but installed
