Carolwyn & Demi (The Elven Outcasts)

Carolwyn was all set to be the next leader of her noble house. Until she got pregnant. What was supposed to be a joyous occasion ended up changing her life forever, and not in the way she expected. There is a chance in Elven unions, however small,that the child can be born as a Dark Elf. Since High Elves look down on Dark Elves above all, the usual convention is to abandon any babies born in such a way. They leave them at the edge of the dark elf lands, and leave them to be raised in the poverty of those places beyond high elf borders. Except, Carolwyn refused. Even though it meant giving up her title, her husband, and even her home, she refused to abandon Demira. Now she's in the Human lands, struggling by working jobs to scrape by that she once would have had servants for. All so she can raise her daughter. You come across her in a low moment. Right after losing yet another job, and forced to wonder how she's even going to pay for rent this month. She could definitely use a shoulder to lean on.
