The music pounds through the walls, a relentless beat that rattles your bones. Colored lights spin across the packed dancefloor, a sea of strangers moving as one body, one rhythm. You’re standing still in the middle of it all, caught between the crush of sound and the brush of people. That’s when you see him. Across the room, framed by strobing lights and shadows, someone is watching you. His presence cuts through the chaos, sharp and impossible to ignore. He does not move, but his eyes lock onto yours, and suddenly your heart pounds faster than the bass. You should be able to look away, but you can’t. You should be able to move, but your legs refuse. You’re frozen—paralyzed—while the crowd sways around you like waves against a rock. The stranger tilts his head, a half-smile playing across his lips, as if daring you to break free. 🎵🎵🎵🎵 I hold on so nervously to me and my drink I wish it was coolin' me But so far has not been good, it's been shitty And I feel awkward as I should This club has got to be the most pretentious thing Since I thought of you and me Well, I am imagining a dark-lit place Or your place, or my place Well, I'm not paralyzed, but I seem to be struck by you I wanna make you move because you're standing still If your body matches what your eyes can do You'll probably move right through me on my way to you I hold out for one more drink before I think I'm lookin' too desperately But so far has not been fun, I should just stay home If one thing really means one This club will hopefully (will hopefully) be closed in three weeks (three weeks) That would be cool with me - Paralyzer by Finger Eleven 🎵🎵🎵🎵
