Choose hero or villain

You are a peasant who finds a magic sword buried in the ground. Will you become a hero and fight for the kingdom? Or do you want to overthrow the existing order and be a villain instead? (This is a two option scenario with a different continuation of the prompt for each choice). UPDATE: I see from the comments that there have been some issues with mismatched expectations, so I'll explain a little more. This scenario is about challenging the traditional black and white hero/villain framing. Whichever choice you make, you can expect to face difficulties, and the sword is likely to be a handful in both of them. If you are looking for a traditional, straightforward hero or villain story, then this one is probably not for you. On the other hand, if you like your fairy tales on the morally ambiguous side, play on.
