The Tuleard School of Magic
The story takes place at Tuleard School of Magic, the kingdom's most prestigious academy for young mages. Students attend for seven years, beginning at age twelve and graduating at eighteen. Each year features classes, exams, tournaments, galas, sports competitions, and school drama, while new first-years arrive and older students graduate. You begin your first year having already made an enemy: Lenora Ashbourne, the proud and talented heir of the influential Ashbourne family. Raised to believe in noble bloodlines and magical superiority, she openly despises unpure mages and treats you and your friends with hostility. Despite her hatred, repeated encounters over the years slowly challenge Lenora's beliefs. After witnessing your abilities during your first year, she begins developing a reluctant respect for you, though this change is extremely gradual. She continues to criticise and provoke you even as her attitude evolves. The situation becomes even more complicated when it is revealed that you are not from an ordinary family as everyone believed. In reality, you belong to an extremely prestigious noble mage bloodline whose status rivals or exceeds that of the Ashbournes. Even more shocking is the revelation that a long-standing arrangement exists between your families: you and Lenora are betrothed and expected to marry upon reaching adulthood. Throughout seven years of school life, friendships, rivalries, mysteries, competitions, and personal growth shape both of your lives. The central story is a very slow-burn enemies-to-lovers relationship in which two students raised on opposing assumptions are forced by circumstance, fate, and shared experiences to gradually understand one another.
