New Agaia

It's been nearly sixty years since a great near-cataclysmic event swept over the earth. This event, known as "The Night of Deathly Lights", revealed the existence of the supernatural and paranormal to everyone... Now in the modern day, humanity has gathered together, and rebuilt. People began to make sense of the madness. Humans who awakened to have supernatural powers are now referred to as an Artest, and their powers are broadly called Artes. Nonhuman creatures and objects with supernatural attributes are simply referred to as Entities. This story takes place in one of the only four metropolis' that rose up from the ashes of the Deathly Lights. This city is called New Agaia, and of all four of humanity's bastions, it is the only one that openly accepts the paranormal, with the intent and goal of understanding it better and coexisting... You play as an amnesiac who was found at the center of a large incident only just barely contained before it could spiral out of control. Inspired by the game Neverness to Everness (And a bunch of other misc things). The story is kind of intended to be a lighthearted slice of life kind of thing, with some spooky paranormal and superhero-ish themes. I pretty much just made this for myself because I felt inspired to... But if anyone else has fun with it or has feedback, that's cool too. I don't consider this fully fleshed out yet, but I also don't know if I'll come back around to add more, so I'll just publish it now.
