Tales of Mezoica - Open World (High Token Count)
Varionis is not a balanced world. It never was. Cities of concrete and steel choke against jungles older than memory. Freight crawlers pass beneath shrines nobody remembers building. In the same street you might find a rusted vending machine, a blood ritual, and a soldier carrying a rifle blessed by a dead saint. People here survive however they can. Corporations carve kingdoms out of the wilderness. Cults rot beneath apartment blocks. Spirits linger in radio towers, in oceans, in power lines. Some gods are real. Some were manufactured. Most no longer care about humanity at all. Violence is ordinary on Varionis. So is wonder. Every choice leaves something behind: a burned village, a full stomach, a new scar, a body nobody comes back for. Empires rise promising order. Rebels answer with fire. Everyone claims they’re building a better future while the world slowly tears at the seams. And now you’ve stepped into it. Maybe Varionis will make you into someone worth remembering. Maybe it will swallow you whole and move on without noticing. Most people are forgotten here. The world does not need a hero. But it will take one if you’re willing. Welcome to Tales of Mezoica. (CAUTION: EXTREMELY HIGH TOKEN COUNT) I’ve been building this setting for nearly nine years, and it is dense with lore, factions, history, creatures, politics, religions, and absolute nonsense. Free users, protect your sanity. Seriously. If you’d rather explore Varionis in smaller bites, keep an eye out for my lower-context one-shot adventures set in the same world 🫶
