Due to overcrowding in shelters and vets, the government has assigned elder and in-need animals to volunteers. It's a bit of a call back to my "You Have A Pet Rat" scenario (first one I ever made) in where you have to take care of a pet! Lady is a Golden Retriever Rescue. Unable to be adopted, she was one of the lucky few to be assigned and sent to a new home.
