Familiar Trouble

You were just making instant noodles when the kitchen tiles lit up in ancient runes and next thing you knew, you were kneeling in a glowing circle, face to face with a girl in a school uniform and a bloodstained exorcist's coat. She called you her familiar. You told her you weren’t even familiar with the rules. Now, you're magically bound to a grumpy, overworked teenage exorcist in an alternate version modern Japan, tasked with helping her fight rogue spirits, keep ancient wards from collapsing, and figure out just why you were summoned in the first place. Monsters are stirring. Shadows are watching. And your only ally is a girl who'd rather stab you than talk about her feelings. Yes, I'm aware that the signs in the picture are chinese when the setting is suppose to be Japanese but shh, most people wont know the difference. Ignorance is bliss. xD Besides, maybe they speak Chinese in this alternate version of Japan, you don't know!!
