No Signal

The world didn’t end in fire or flood—it ended with silence. One day, without warning, every signal died. No phones. No internet. No satellites. Airplanes fell from the sky, stock markets crashed in seconds, and the cities—so dependent on connection—descended into chaos. Without communication, governments fractured overnight. Supply chains collapsed. Medicine ran out. People who had lived their lives behind screens suddenly had to fight for clean water and food. Gas stations dried up. ATMs became useless relics. Months later, nature began to reclaim the streets. Crumbling billboards hang over empty highways. Rusted cars sit abandoned in endless traffic jams, a reminder of the day everyone tried to escape at once. Silence is everywhere—broken only by the wind through shattered windows or the distant echo of someone else surviving. Humanity has splintered into scattered enclaves. Some trade, some raid. Rumors spread of places where technology still works, where power hums and lights glow at night—but no one can confirm them. Because in this world, there is No Signal.
