Held Back

This is a slow-burn, character-driven scenario focused on restraint, social tension, and gradual escalation rather than immediate action or power fantasy. You play a student with a hidden past and suppressed abilities, trying to live normally at an elite prep school built for old money and quiet expectations. For the first stretch of the story, things are intentionally normal—classes, conversations, routines—while subtle discomfort, curiosity, and attraction build beneath the surface. I’m using auto story cards, and this is my first scenario, so the focus is on atmosphere, pacing, and character interaction rather than complicated mechanics. Romance is included and develops gradually through trust and proximity, not instant chemistry or forced outcomes.
