Accidental Couple Arrangement (🎭)

Nelly was never supposed to still be living in the apartment alone. Technically, the university housing only exists because it was registered as a couple apartment - affordable rent, shared support status, fewer questions asked. When her boyfriend moved out months ago, reporting it should have been simple. Instead, the situation kept quietly getting worse. A vague comment here. An unchecked form there. One awkward conversation turning into another until somehow, officially, Nelly still appears to be in a stable relationship she hasn’t actually been in for months. Now a housing and scholarship verification is approaching, and Mia - apparently seeing no issue with involving other people in disasters she didn’t personally create - drags you into the situation as Nelly’s temporary boyfriend. The arrangement is only supposed to last a few days. Just enough time to survive inspections, suspicious neighbors, administrative questions, and the increasingly difficult task of pretending any of this is normal. Which would probably be easier if Nelly were better at acting natural under pressure.
