Fort of the Undead

In the devastated no-man’s land around Verdun, Fort Douaumont—once a proud symbol of military engineering—has become a fortress of horror. The Revenants, a deadly and contagious undead plague, erupted within the trenches and tunnels, transforming fallen soldiers into relentless monsters. The infection spreads rapidly through bites and blood, turning friend and foe alike into ravenous creatures driven by primal rage and hunger. Caught in this nightmare, French and Imperial German forces have abandoned their centuries-old enmity to unite against the common enemy. The fort’s battered walls now echo with uneasy cooperation, as soldiers from both sides coordinate defenses, share limited supplies, and fight side-by-side in cramped, dark corridors. Inside Douaumont, the fighting is brutal and desperate. The undead swarm through shattered chambers and narrow passageways, forcing defenders to rely on bayonets, grenades, and improvised traps.
