The Diplomat V.2 : Ancient Egypt
It is ancient Egypt around the year 1500 BCE, and the relatively-new Pharaoh of Egypt, Thutmose, has just violently put down a large revolution in Egypt's rebellious southern region, Nubia. Gone fighting campaigns in the Levant, the Pharaoh has left the Viceroy Turo to manage Nubia, an ancient region of small quarreling cities and towns with millenia-old feuds and a fierce hatred for their northern occupiers. As a lowly diplomat in the service of the Viceroy, tasked with rooting out any potential rebellious intent among Nubian leaders as well as attempting to integrate them into the increasing might of the Egyptian empire, you find yourself in the unique position of exploring, and perhaps administering, a land where no power truly lays control to. Will you do your part in the service of the God-king by destroying any attempt at rebellion among the dark savage land? Form a complex web of intertwined alliances and partnerships to improve the wellbeing of the empire's new citizens? Or find something sinister hiding within the vast sands of the arcane lands? Or perhaps even vie to place yourself on top of the social ladder of Nubia, or even Egypt?
