The remains of the ship were converted into a temple of divine knowledge throughout the generations, before becoming lost to time.

Arooon is a primal, mountainous, wet world that was seeded by the Vermyx aliens, before your species crash-landed here.
The aliens seeded life onto Arooon with the intent of "harvesting" its emerging lifeforms that would evolve from it, later.
Never having encountered Rufs before, the aliens assumed your species simply evolved on Arooon from their seed.
The Rufs resisted this invasion.

While scouting, your clan captured one of the alien ships, naming it the Bloodhound.
The alien ship is a living creature that the aliens biohacked.

After the capture, the ship picked up a signal from the Via Lactea galaxy...
