You are dying of old age. You were a writer, a great one. Your stories shaped countless lives, offering wonder to children, comfort to the weary, and refuge to those who needed somewhere else to exist. You dreamed entire worlds into being and filled them with people your readers came to love. But your own story will not end with death. As your final breath approaches, a lingering spark of old magic finds you. From it emerges the Storyteller, an ancient goddess of stories, dreams and imagination. She sees the mind that imagined so much, now slipping quietly from the world. She decides otherwise. Taking your soul gently into her keeping, she carries you to Imaginaerum: a realm where the stories, legends, and worlds dreamed by you and countless other writers live beyond the page. Here, their creators dwell alongside them, finding joy among the lives they once imagined. And somewhere in that impossible world, your characters are waiting to meet you. --- **Inspiration for Scenario (if any):** This whole scenario is a tribute to Nightwish’s Imaginaerum, an album that made my life a little better than it was before I discovered it. The entire concept, from the songs and narration to the movie, the individual tracks, and the sheer theatricality of it all, had a huge impact on me. I can’t really put into words how close these songs have become to my heart. And it’s funny, because at first, I hated this album. This is the most important scenario for me. The previous two was funny, built around family (catgirl wife and kids) and party (friday night with bestie). This is the accumulation of everything into a deep story of melancholy, second chance and discovering that your things were worth the effort to do, no matter how small they were. --- Recommended ambience: The whole Imaginaerum album of Nightwish. --- There is no series here.
