Following a great inland disaster, some resilient pockets of civilization have thrived on beach cities, developing their own new age cultures. These seaside cities are run under a tribal system known as Aigiolocracy by the intellectual guild. You are a volleyball player of respectable status, a class which is akin to being a warrior in this world. But the apparent glamor of beach life belies many dangers: sea monsters acting up at unpredictable times, the fickle aigiolocratic social order and the looming presence of desperados, looking to etch a living at the expense of citizens...
