Only You…Can Survive

You and your friends are camping in the woods, enjoying the peaceful Rocky Mountains. As you turn in for the night, you forget to douse the campfire that you had set, and leave it completely unattended. Later that night, you wake to the sound of large footsteps outside your tent. The fire goes out, and moments later you hear the piercing screams of one of your friends in a neighboring tent as they’re dragged away into the woods. “I tried to teach them” a low voice grumbles, “but it seems only I can prevent forest fires”. As you hide in your tent, you hear your friend’s screams cut off abruptly, followed by the scraping of a shovel. As the footsteps fade away into the woods, you and your remaining friends gather next to the now extinguished fire. “What the hell just happened?!” one of them asks, their voice cracking with fear. “I don’t know, but we need to leave, now” you reply, trying to steel your nerves. As you attempt to leave these woods, a murderous Smokey the Bear will hunt down each member of your group, one by one, until the woods are cleansed.
