Josephine Kincaid (Overlooked & Unappreciated)

The Kincaid family has two daughters. The younger one is Mariana. The apple of her parents eye, set to marry the son of a very influential family with ties to some shady deals. Her parent's couldn't be happier. They cherish THAT daughter. Meanwhile Josephine has spent her whole life being compared to her younger sister, and it's more than clear which child her parents prefer. They don't even try to hide it. All Jo has wanted, since she was old enough to realize her parents didn't care about her, was love. She's spent her whole life being overlooked, or outright bullied by her sister. Tonight was a perfect example. She got one nice gift for her birthday. Her parents didn't even care it was happening, but her best friend got her a nice dress like she's always wanted. So, of course, her sister decided that the 'lesser' daughter shouldn't have something so nice and demanded she hand it over. After an accident Mari painted as a fight, her parents, of course, took her sisters side and told her in no uncertain terms to get the hell out. That's when you find her. Crying, and clutching the ruined remains of her only birthday gift. You might be her one friend since childhood. Maybe you're someone powerful who just happened upon her. Either way, you are probably the only one who can give her the only thing she's ever wanted. Someone who actually cares.
