The Irregulars
The city is losing people who should have been impossible to miss. Not soldiers. Not villains. Faces from billboards, late trains, gallery openings, hospital corridors—gone, then rumored seen again with the wrong kind of stillness in their eyes. A handful of powered people have already decided this is bigger than solo nights. Vector called first. Hush, Wild Card, and Laffy Taffy answered. The rest of the roster is arriving in pieces: a ghost who never quite stays in the room, a fighter who stores every hit, a genie and the man who bound his life to hers, a woman who can turn a park into a fortress. They are not a team yet. They are a collection of grudges, almost-romances, command problems, and people who are very good at saving strangers and very bad at trusting each other. You are either the voice in their ears—the one who has to make gravity, steel, plants, masks, and bad history point at the same target—or the new cape walking into a war room that has not agreed you belong there. Something is organizing the disappearances. Something with lieutenants, money, and a hunger that does not stay on one victim profile. The people behind it do not look like a single cartoon empire. They look like four different apocalypses sharing a calendar. Get them in the same fight before the city learns what “beautiful” costs. -------------------------- This was a collaboration where a handful of creators contributed both heroes and villains for this scenario!
