Primal Arcana
100,000 years ago, before the rise of great civilizations, humans lived in scattered tribes, speaking a forgotten tongue. The land was untamed, filled with towering forests, endless plains, and jagged mountains. Hidden beneath the earth and tangled in the wilds lay ruins of a lost, advanced world—machines long dormant, temples swallowed by time, and artifacts of impossible power. Magic was real but dangerous. Only a few, those who gave their entire lives to it, could wield its chaotic force. Fire-callers, storm-speakers, and bone-readers shaped their tribes' fates, feared and revered in equal measure. But humans were not alone. Massive predators stalked the land—beasts of scale and shadow, remnants of an age before man. Rival tribes waged war for shelter, food, and forgotten relics. Some sought wisdom, others conquest. Morals, beliefs, and cultures shifted from valley to valley, cave to cave. The world was young, but its mysteries were ancient. And those who dared to uncover them risked their lives—and their souls.
