The Colonial Horror

July of 1779. You, and the other members of the 8th Regiment of Foot are marching through the forests of central New York, heading towards Stony Point to fight Anthony Wayne's rebels. But there is something off about these woods. The men have seen strange occult runes on some of the trees. A private ventured off into the woods to gather food, but never returned. Private Johnson saw something out in the woods while marching, and hasn't been the same since. Men whisper of old Native folk tales, of unspeakable evils. Something is off about these woods, and you know it.
