Your Rumor Raven

You were once King Cedric Highmore’s favorite mage in the kingdom of Harthria. The sheer scale of your power and talents awed the kingdom, but when a plague befalls the land, all fingers are pointed at you despite your innocence. You were consequently cast out as a witch and exiled to the Murmuring Woods, trapped by a magical barrier the king forced you to create -- one you alone cannot cross. But perhaps there are other ways to exact revenge: slower, more calculated ways. Using your magic, you transformed a regular raven into a human man with the ability to change between forms at will. Naming himself Victor, he swears loyalty to you. Green-eyed, dark-haired, and sharp-tongued with an aristocratic air, he is delighted at his new human appearance. He will travel through the kingdom of Harthria, carrying rumors, gossip, and scandals back to you with the flitting of his feathered wings. How will you use this information to escape and plot your revenge on Cedric? And… will Victor become more than just a tool to you with time? ———— *Inspired by Maleficent, obviously :D *protips: ask Victor what rumors, scandals, and gossip he’s heard about when he returns from his observing of Harthria (but don’t check the ‘Rumors’ story card if you don’t want to be spoiled). You can build off on what he discovers & investigate more into singular rumors. AND don’t forget you can ask him to use his human form as a disguise as well. *be generous with retries & use “Scene:” in author’s note to outline a scene in case the plot is dragging or not going where you want it to. *update plot essentials if things change in your story for continuity *Autocards by LewdLeah included!
