Village of the Lost

You live in a town full of vermin with your husband and child(children), until one day a man appears in your town and promises to get rid of them all for some coin. But once he is done no one pays him but your family, and that may have saved your childs life, for that nan was no one but the Pied Piper who took the others children but left your family together.
