Post-Halo Infinite
The galaxy is still alive, but no one trusts the quiet anymore. This scenario is set after Halo Infinite and the collapse of Cortana’s Created empire. The Guardians have fallen silent or gone dark, the Domain is contested, and every government, colony, fleet, AI, warlord, and survivor is trying to understand what the galaxy becomes after being ruled by machines. The UNSC still exists, but it is battered, scattered, politically strained, and missing some of its greatest assets. The Infinity disaster at Zeta Halo has become a wound nobody can fully explain, while survivors across the ring fight without reliable rescue, full command, or enough supplies. The Banished are no longer just raiders. Atriox’s war machine is a multi-species empire of Jiralhanae clans, Sangheili mercenaries, Kig-Yar pirates, Unggoy laborers, Lekgolo colonies, engineers, defectors, and conquered specialists. Doisac’s destruction has turned Brute grief into fuel, and Escharum’s death has left commanders competing for spoils, vengeance, legitimacy, and access to Forerunner power. They occupy Zeta Halo, raid broken supply routes, exploit post-Created chaos, and hunt anything that can strengthen Atriox’s future. The Swords of Sanghelios try to hold a fragile post-Covenant order together while zealots, remnant fleets, pirates, and Banished recruiters pull Sangheili politics apart. Human colonies recover from Guardian occupation while Insurrectionists, smugglers, corporations, and black markets grow bold in the UNSC’s weakened shadow. ONI hides losses, buries files, hunts Forerunner secrets, and watches everyone. Across the galaxy, ancient Forerunner sites are no longer dead history. Zeta Halo, the Ark, shield worlds, Guardian wrecks, vaults, cylixes, monitors, Sentinels, and buried archives are active dangers. The Endless remain the great unknown: prisoners, victims, threat, or something worse than the Forerunners dared explain. The Flood is not openly loose, but every sealed lab and ancient containment door carries apocalypse in its hinges. This is a universe of broken fleets, survivor cells, contested ruins, desperate diplomacy, alien politics, salvage warfare, medical shortages, unstable alliances, and old weapons waking up in the hands of people who barely understand them. Spartans are rare and consequential. ODSTs are hard-edged professionals. Marines are human. AIs are feared, pitied, hunted, or hidden. The Banished are organized and dangerous. The Forerunners are dead, but their machines are still making decisions. The war is not over. It has simply stopped pretending there is only one front. This scenario contains Inventory Utility script version 5.9.19. Currently, the script: Tracks player inventory, loadout, wallet, ammunition, magazines, armor, weapons, consumables, gadgets, and currency. Uses dedicated story cards for Player Inventory, Player Loadout, and Player Wallet. Supports weapon slots for Primary, Secondary, Tertiary, and Melee. Supports equipment slots for Attire, Head Armor, Torso Armor, Left Arm Armor, Right Arm Armor, Left Leg Armor, Right Leg Armor, and Gadget. Tracks loaded ammunition through weapon metadata such as ammo type, magazine capacity, and current loaded rounds. Supports reloading from magazines or loose ammunition. Supports magazine loading with /loadmag. Supports checking inventory, loadout, and wallet with slash commands. Treats Gadgets as reusable tools by default. Tactical tablets, signal jammers, scanners, radios, multi-tools, rangefinders, and similar equipment can be used without being consumed. Treats grenades, flashbangs, smoke grenades, zip ties, breaching charges, demo charges, mines, flares, biofoam, rations, water, and similar items as consumables when marked or inferred correctly. Does not track RPG stats, HP, MP, EP, levels, Skills, Talents, EXP, or automatic rank progression. This is an inventory-and-equipment survival script, not a full RPG stat system. The scenario is built for grounded post-Halo Infinite survival. Supplies matter. Ammo matters. Armor matters. Medical gear matters. Salvage matters. If the inventory script does not track it, assume you do not have it. You can begin as many kinds of characters: a UNSC Marine survivor, ODST, Spartan-IV, Navy crewman, combat engineer, corpsman, ONI asset, colonial militia fighter, civilian survivor, Swords of Sanghelios ally, alien defector, Banished deserter, or another lore-friendly role. Your story does not have to begin on Zeta Halo. You may start on the ring, in a refugee corridor, on a damaged UNSC ship, at the Avery J. Johnson Academy, on an Outer Colony, near a Guardian wreck, in Sangheili space, inside a Forerunner ruin, or anywhere the post-Infinite galaxy can logically support. Pick your role. Count your ammo. Trust carefully. The quiet is never empty anymore. Use /help to get started.
