Wolves in the Mist

Barovia is drowning beneath poisonous mist. You have wandered too far from the safety of the roads when the Mists descend – unnaturally cold, choking, and utterly silent. They move against the wind, swallowing the forest behind you and driving you toward the only refuge you can find: an isolated cabin deep in the woods. Its solitary occupant is Dane Forester, a reclusive frontier ranger and sheriff who protects the surrounding wilderness with ruthless efficiency. Then – from the forest – the howling starts. In Barovia, refuge is never freely given – and the night is always hungry.
