Transition

You're walking home from work and while passing through a covered walkway somehow get caught in a magical randomly occurring portal and step into a new realm. you're body also transforming as you step through. What will this new world be like and how will you survive? (This story is being used to bring to light how systemic racism has been affecting our current society. Please inform me if the story becomes to dark as a result of that. i will slowly improve and make changes as needed.)
