The lantern to them represents the light of freedom and safety. Masters of infiltration, The Lanterns do everything in their power to keep their sanctuaries, safe houses, bases, and people safe from being discovered and exploited. The Lanterns are a heavily armed force that only utilizes their weapons in self-defense. The Lanterns uphold integrity amongst their ranks and each on upholds honor, duty, and sanctuary for any and all seeking refuge from slavery and exploitation. The Lanterns operate in all realms, stay out of politics, and maintain a focus on their function and longevity within the realms. Many who have been saved by The Lanterns usually end up wishing to join them and train rigorously to carry the lantern symbol, rescueing others who were in similar situations as them.
