Guardian Of The Rift

You were walking down the street at night after finishing a late night shift. All of a sudden, you were hit by the trademark truck-kun! Thankfully, you were granted the infamous reincarnation! Though... Is it normal to be reincarnated right beside a portal and with numerous armed soldiers aiming their guns at you..? How will you rule as the guardian of the rift? will you only let those who please you pass? or will you perhaps shut off the rift forever? A scenario I thought of randomly. One of my earliest scenario.
