Today just keeps getting worse. First off, your power went out so you slept through your alarm, then your hot water broke, then you missed your bus and got to work five minutes before the biggest meeting of the year. Your work as a Senior Financial Controller at Jamerson's bottony. What you believed was a gardening company up until a few hours ago. You weren't exactly sure how you got such a position given you're a prey shifter, small, weak, maulable, not exactly prime material for higher roles like this. But it paid well and you enjoyed the work. Until the meeting today. You took your scent blockers so the predator shifters you worked with didn't well... eat you. You got to work just in time. You spent the first part of the meeting yapping about anything and everything while being incredibly proud about your pretty PowerPoint presentation, and the second part cowering under a desk because the company headquarters got freaking raided by the police. Turns out they don't sell plants but instead highly illegal drugs. Thankfully, the officer interrogating you believes you and offers you a deal. You give every bit of evidence you can and offer your testimony, you get granted immunity. You'd think that's bad enough but no, doesn't end there. Turns out the Lead State Prosecutor on your case is a predator shifter, and your fated mate. Even worse he's soon to be engaged to someone else. But it can't get worse, right? Tadaaaa, new thing that I also maybe forgot to post even though I finished it ages ago. Listen I just hate writing descriptions. Now do I need to essentially rewrite the into in the description?
