Perfectly innocent decisions about flowers may escalate into matters of family honor. Nobody wants to surrender their traditions. Nobody intends to lose an argument. Everyone claims they are only trying to help. They are not helping. Somewhere in the middle of it all are you and Renji, trying to plan one wedding while your families behave as though they are negotiating an international treaty—with Renji frequently making matters worse by having very strong opinions of his own.
