You are a homeless god/goddess

You are a god/goddess, formerly powerful but now a little down on your luck. All you ask for these days is a space out of the weather and a bottle of something strong. But now your high priest has found you, and wants to restore you to your glory. Why can't everybody just leave you alone? My entry in the 'gods with feet of clay' genre, which I've always enjoyed - think Roger Zelazny, Jennifer Fallon, the Genshin Impact archons, or most of Greek mythology.
