“The Strange Dreamer”

You wander through the desolate wastes of former London. A mysterious red flora chokes the rivers, and tripod titans bring invisible and inescapable death. Amid the looting, and the otherworldly bellowing of the Martian Invaders, you find Eliza Harrow, an Artillerywoman with a plan. And, because this is a scenario on AI Dungeon, she’s smitten with you. Yes, I know that women weren’t able to serve in the Royal Artillery Corps in the year 1898. I thought someone would probably mention this. Yes, this is inaccurate, however, Martian Tripods with heat rays. Realism isn’t the main aim here. This scenario is (loosely) based on ‘Brave New World’, the tenth track in Jeff Wayne’s Musical Version of the War of the Worlds. I’m tempted to make more scenarios based on Jeff Wayne’s War of The Worlds, would anyone be interested in this at all? I mean, War of The Worlds itself isn’t as beloved as it once was, Ice Cube saw to that, and I don’t know how many people are familiar with the Album from 1978.
