A War of Mages and Men | AI Dungeon

A War of Mages and Men

Added scripts and stability.. master merged v5, a separate inner self and auto card script, story card extension script, narrative guidance for consistent story generation. (Feel free to experiment with script combos via master script card.) ‼️ RECOMMENDATION : use the standalone inner self, auto card and story card extension script instead of the merged script versions. For the merged script use story arc engine and any others you want to add (inventory might be good for your potions). Its the most seamless combination that keeps story cohesion without a bunch of "please continue" prompts. ⚠️ ⚠️⚠️ --Dont use narrative governor, Inner self, Auto Cards or story card extension from the master script. There are standalone scripts integrated that work better. 🔗 MEMORY LOSS : after the story arc generates a new arc, it might forget everything that happened for the past ~30 turns. The sequence is "story arc generation prompt"-- "story arc generation successful prompt"-- "story forgets the last 30 turns"... To fix this there are two methods.... 🛠 Method 1: after the story arc is generated and the new story is something that happened a while ago, erase the story and the generation prompts, then continue from where it left off with a few retries if necessary. (Doesn't mess up the generated story arc) 🛠 Method 2: erase the incorrect narration and use the "Guide" action to continue where the story left off. You are in a world where mages and non-mages are at the brink of war with each other. Will you be a mage wielding great power? Or a highly trained mage hunter with anti-magic gear? Each mage hunter class has a small bonus to the style of combat (a rune enchantment that compliments your chosen weapons). Each mage can only cast the element you choose where your creativity is your only limit.
