In the misty Pacific Northwest town of Cascade Valley, you must now navigate your unexpected new life and body while upholding centuries of family tradition. As the spiritual heart of the Japanese-American community, the shrine demands you master sacred rituals, elegant kagura dances, and public ceremonies — all while hiding the truth from the town and coming to terms with your new identity. With the playful and mischievous Inari no Mikoto watching over you, and the support (and teasing) of your family and closest friends, you face the challenge of balancing duty, self-discovery, and the whims of a trickster god in this intimate tale of transformation and legacy.
